I woke before Cassy, to a call from Sam. It's only then that I see it's already after 7am. We never sleep this late. We are normally on our way by this time. She looks so peaceful; I don’t have the heart to wake her. “Hold on Sam,” I whispered and got up.
I walked out of the room and took the call in the passage. “Hey man, thanks for the wake-up call. I actually overslept.” I say and he chuckles. “It’s because you have a beautiful woman in your bed.” He says and we both chuckle.
“Everything for the trap is set and ready. All we need to do is get Cassy to call this Vincent Patel, and set up the meeting. The private booth at Pierre’s is perfect, and I have already spoken to him, and he is on board. We will need her to be there to make it look authentic,” Sam says.
