I lie awake and watch Cassy sleep. I thank God that we are all safe, and this nightmare is finally over. Thanks to all the people in our lives for keeping us safe. We are truly blessed to have them. My family has grown so much and I honestly love it.
Halfway through the night, both boys woke up, so we took them to our room. We just wanted to hold them to assure ourselves that we were all safe. We slept a bit later than usual, and when we woke up, we could smell breakfast was already being made. Cassy and I quickly got ready, and then got the boys ready.
