In the evening, Damien woke me up with kisses, soft ones along my collarbone, then harder ones on my mouth until I was laughing into his lips and pushing him away so I could actually breathe. “Get up,” he said, voice rough. “We're going somewhere.” I groaned, rolling onto my stomach. “We just came back from shopping a few hours ago.’ He flipped me over like I weighed nothing, pinned my wrists above my head with one hand, and kissed down my neck. “You have five minutes to get dressed or I'm carrying you out naked.” I glared up at him. “You wouldn't.” He raised an eyebrow. “Try me.” I believed him.
