Jagger POV
I'm not sure how much time has passed when my eyes fly open. I look around the room and Angel's eyes are still closed. I turn toward the sound of the door opening and an older woman that I assume is a nurse steps inside. "Hello, I'm Maggie. I'm one of the nurses. Dr. Liz and Alpha Caroline asked me to take over Angel's care. I just need to check on Miss Angel's vital signs." I nod, and she starts to move around my beautiful mate. After a few minutes, she turns toward me with a warm smile.
"All of her vital signs are stable. I know it's hard to wait, but she will wake up when she is ready. Her body went through a lot and her wolf is working hard to heal her," she says kindly. "Thank you" I say before she turns and leaves the room. I lean down and kiss Angel gently on her lips
