It was a lot to take in as I leaned against the castle wall, hidden from view. Sarah hadn’t returned to the King’s castle. Learning about her ability to rewrite time made me worry the King would misuse her gift. He hadn’t learned how she could rewrite time. He believed she could freeze it on command.
Arms folded across my chest, Stormviel Pack’s attempt/attack on the ancient temple didn’t sit right. Why would Andrew attack where Sarah was training when he had recently stopped an assassination by the queen against her? Had given his life, though he didn’t know he had, after being rewritten. It showed that he cared enough about Sarah that he wouldn’t do that.
