‎Aria’s POV ‎I folded my clothes with deliberate care, placing each garment into the luggage as though sealing away the last traces of my time here. Ever since Kael’s former Luna died, I had moved into his packhouse, into his life, under the guise of comfort and companionship. But closeness was my weapon. Revenge demanded proximity, and I had come to his pack with one purpose: to make him suffer for what he had done to me in my past life. Now, with him kidnapped and presumed dead, that purpose felt complete. There was no reason to remain among his wolves. I had come for Kael, and Kael was gone. Or so I believed. ‎My second chance at life had not been wasted. I had avenged the rejection, the betrayal, the pain he and Elena inflicted on me even when Elena sold me out and ended my existence
