Before I could answer or even process the weight of Kael's question, Lucien exploded.
"You are nothing but a traitor!" he snarled, taking another step forward with his fists clenched. "Who do you think you are to take Astrid?”
Kael turned to look at him, and the expression on his face was one of pure disgust.
"You think I'm a traitor?" he repeated slowly, his voice dripping with mockery. "Tell me, Lucien. Can you even manage your own affairs? Can you control your own woman? Can you see what is right in front of your face?"
