Nadia Slowly, I nodded. “Fine. Tonight. When and where?” I hoped Vincent’s penchant for living in relative secrecy would bear out here, because I really didn’t want to risk having any Fenris Hall students walk in on us doing…whatever it was we’d be doing, attempting to awaken my wolf spirit. Vincent named a time late that night, and said, “I’ll book one of the private training rooms for us. Faculty are given priority in the system; I can book us out for at least the next month. However long it takes.” My shoulders sank – and my stomach fluttered – at the idea of spending a month of nights in close quarters with Vincent, trying and probably failing to awaken my wolf. I definitely shouldn’t have agreed to this. But the slim possibility of finally having a wolf was just too tempting.
