Nadia  I’d never had a friend who was popular before. I’d never had much in the way of friends, period. So it felt weird, starting to become friends with Anna – weird, but also nice.  She was definitely still Anna in a lot of the bad ways: walking through the world like she owned the place, perfectly happy to use her father’s high rank to get whatever she wanted, and prone to extreme bitchiness.
