I didn't bother to check the number and answered. “Alpha Brightclaw,” a clipped voice came through. “Andrew has crossed into Brightclaw’s borders.” I stiffened. “Where is he?” “He checked into the Phoenix Gate Hotel under his own name.” That stopped me. “He didn’t try to go to the Estate?” “No, sir.
