I never thought this day would come—an official legal proceeding where I might actually have a chance to be granted visitation to see my son legally. I close my eyes and picture an agreement that Landon and Brianna are compelled to follow.
But still…the environment is intimidating, and the wait is excruciating. I stare at the white-haired, potbelly older werewolf that is to be our judge perched behind the bench in his formal black robes.
I know Landon and Brianna must have paid him handsomely. In that closed-door meeting, we would never have reached a jury without Arthur’s involvement.
