(Lizzie POV)
No sooner than I finish saying "Come in" Charlotte has thrown herself into my arms. Her face is a mess of snot and tears. Her shoulders are shaking as her body is wracked with sobs. I have no idea how such a little thing can do this much crying.
"She's turning him against me!" Charlotte practically screams. "It's not fair!"
It's so easy to figure out what's going on, but my brain completely stutters and stalls out. Moments ago my room had been completely quiet and now there are sobs echoing off the walls while my shirt is dampened with tears. My hands flutter pathetically in the air before settling on Charlotte's shoulder and back. I rub up and down hoping it's soothing, or something.
