Parker’s POV
I was speaking to Hazel when I heard Cassidy sobbing. It was unexpected, but I could see she was emotional. Caden was behind her, and he seemed just as surprised by her outburst as I was. Carter and Barton came to the doorway between the kitchen and the living room upon hearing her crying.
“What’s going on?” Carter asked.
He didn’t know what led up to her being upset, but he knew something was going on. I’ve never seen Cassidy cry before, not once. She’s always acted like she was above it, but something has clearly set her off.
