Honor I smoothed my green dress down as I got out of Greg’s G-Wagon. He took my hand, and we stepped into the restaurant, Greg’s warm hand resting possessively at the small of my back. The place was lively but not overwhelming, exactly the upscale casual spot Montez would pick. I glanced up at Greg and caught the slight tightness in his jaw. He was trying to look relaxed, but his clenched jaw and eyes gave him away. “Be nice,” I murmured, squeezing his arm. “I’m always nice. I just thought you and he were together for a while.
