Honor When I got home, I put the treasure chest on the table in the living room and sat on my couch to stare at it. Before I opened it, I wanted to think about the date. I had a good time. I was excited to see all the wonderful paintings by Del’Ressia Shari. The one with the mother and child under the tree spoke to me. The woman’s dark skin had been flawless in its beauty. She had short, shaved hair like mine, but without the curls. She was almost bald, but with a hint of shadow. The child lay in her arms, asleep. Probably full from suckling at her breast. She was resting in the shade. Her vibrant aquamarine attire looked cool and light. In the painting, you can see the shadows of the woman’s breasts. She looked content. Her arms weren’t bare, there were beaded bracelets all up and down
