The warehouse felt quieter after Bones disappeared. Nobody admitted it out loud but everyone noticed the empty chair during church, the missing voice during planning and the absence of the man who always looked completely unshakable. The silence weighed on all of us. Roman stood over another map while Knox stared at the wall without really seeing it and Wire sat behind three laptops trying to track federal movements.
