I managed to slip out just before sunrise. The warehouse remained quiet while most of Devil’s Hollow caught up on the sleep none of us had managed to get for days and for a moment I stood outside watching the old brick building before climbing into one of the borrowed cars. Part of me already knew Knox would be furious if he found out but another part of me didn’t care. I needed answers.
