"The heat is too much. Not arguing that." Roman said and Crow dropped into a chair.
"They just don't want to burn with us." Crow said.
The statement hung heavily in the room because it was true and the allies weren't betraying us. Not really. They were surviving. Choosing their own people and protecting their own clubs.
If our positions were reversed, maybe Devil's Hollow would do the same. Maybe.
