I knew it was unusual for Thomas to leave the house early in the morning but I just waved it off and didn’t question him further when he said he had something to take care of.
He also mentioned that he wouldn’t spend more than an hour and he would join me to work out when I was ready. We were cool but he always tried his best to please me and made sure I never got mad at him.
When I was ready to start working out, I went to his room to check for him but I met an empty room. Maybe something came up and he had to spend more time.
I didn’t want to be alone, so I asked Nessa to join me. She protested at first but she later gave in. I went downstairs and started lifting weights.
After a few minutes, I moved over to the punching bags. It was then Nessa joined me. She
