The last week was nice and easygoing. Everything was peaceful and I had lots of fun with Ellie and Liam. It was finally my favorite time of the year. I always looked forward to Christmas every year. It was the one time I found any means to make myself happy even if the year was shitty.
I couldn’t stop talking about how much I loved Christmas, so Vito suggested we decorate the house and go Christmas shopping.
I woke up really early that morning because it was going to be a long day. We also had an end-of-year party Vito was hosting at his hotel in the evening.
Vito already ordered the Christmas tree. He said he never really celebrated the holiday and just hung out with Damon and their other friends. He had never had a Christmas tree at his house before.
