I was busy hosting the party and exchanging pleasantries with the guests. I didn’t mean to leave Nessa alone but I didn’t have any choice. I still checked up on her from time to time to make sure she was okay. When I saw she was with Damon and Ariana, I decided to focus fully on the party.
After a while, I checked where they all sat to see if she was okay but I only saw Damon and Ariana. I went over to ask about Nessa.
“Where’s Nessa?” I asked Damon, my eyes fixed on her empty seat.
“Oh, I think she went outside to take a call.” He responded.
It was probably her mum or Ellie calling her, so I just went back to see that the party went on smoothly.
