I was disappointed. I wouldn’t lie my mum was a pain in the ass, but I felt we had made progress yet she was still being difficult. She couldn’t wait to hear if I had an explanation or something.
I took a deep breath before calling her number again. “When are you ever going to change?” I asked angrily as she picked up the call.
