It didn’t take long before Vito came downstairs. “Are you ready?” His voice sounded from the stairs.
“Yes, Boss,” I replied, making my way to the door.
He walked to the door and a frown formed on his face. “Boss?” He opened the door and we both walked out of the house.
“That’s what workers call their employees right?”
“Stop teasing me, babe.” He took my hand and we walked to the cars waiting for us.
