Victor Kane had finally realized something that should have been obvious from the beginning, because Paige was no longer an easy target.
She had the Iron Vipers around her, she had security cameras watching Lawson Customs from every angle, and she had half the town willing to stand beside her after everything Victor had already tried. Even if he sent another crew after her, he would have to fight through people who were prepared for him now, and Victor had never been the kind of man who enjoyed losing.
