Jace's POV
The call came just after sunrise.
I was sitting at the clubhouse kitchen table with Paige when my phone vibrated, and the number on the screen was one I didn’t recognize so I answered immediately.
“Jace speaking.” I said and a young male voice came through.
“My name is Tyler.” He said and I exchanged a look with Paige.
“Tyler who?” I asked.
“I’m with the Black Reapers.” He said and Paige's expression changed.
“Where are you?” I asked.
“I’m near the old railway bridge.” He said.
“Are you alone?” I asked.
“Yes.” He said.
“Did anyone follow you?” I asked.
“No.” He said and there was a pause.
“I want out.” He added and I leaned back in my chair.
“Then you called the right person, but I need to know why.” I said.
