“There is.” Blake said as he pointed toward a small opening behind a pile of rocks.
We moved toward it and then my phone suddenly vibrated.
The signal had returned. It was Paige and I answered.
“Paige.” I said and her voice was calm. Too calm.
“Jace, are you alright?” She asked.
“I am.” I said.
“Good.” She said.
“What’s happening?” I asked and there was a pause.
“I think Sarah is about to have a very bad day.” She said and I frowned.
“What does that mean?” I asked.
“I will explain later.” She said.
“Paige.” I said.
“I love you.” She said.
“I love you too.” I said.
She ended the call and I stared at the phone as Derek looked at me.
