Gloria stood quietly behind Lukas as the fancy executive elevator went down smoothly to the floor he wanted. There was nothing but a heavy, choking silence all around them. This silence made Gloria feel very uncomfortable and nervous inside.
Gloria glanced up quickly at Lukas's strong back. He was a full head and a half taller than her. He had very broad shoulders that looked powerful and scary. This big size intimidated her a lot every time she saw him.
