He was just standing there listening to her, he’d not interrupted her at all and that was likely because after last night he did actually know she wouldn’t be caving into him. That he didn’t or hadn’t truly understood how badly he’d screwed things up, and this right now, her telling him how she felt was something he did actually want to hear.
A part of him, she supposed, really did want to fix things, he couldn’t actually right the wrongs he'd done, there were too many, she’d not lied to him about anything. Told him how she felt and agreed not to reject him but hadn’t agreed to anything else.
