She sat in on that medical conference the next day, even though she wasn’t a doctor, nurse or had any medical background whatsoever, and she found it wasn’t all that boring for her. She did understand some of it, but not all the technical details, but when the speakers spoke in laymen terms for certain parts of it, or answered questions directed at them, she could actually follow along and it held her attention.
It was completely different to anything she’d even been to or listened to before, and was nothing like her everyday life inside the pack, so it was a good break from her norm. She was also relaxed here inside this pack. Like inside the Rising Blue Lotus, she didn’t have to keep her guard up or try and read into anything anyone did or said.
