She returned to her duties inside that office, as did her unit. She knew they were unhappy about what she’d said, they’d all stared at her like she was almost crazy, and she’d put it to them to think about it, what they’d seen over the past year, who he spent his time with, and who spent money and who stayed in the pack and actually did the Luna’s Duties. They’d all kind of just stared at her and then muttered, ‘It’s not fair. Why doesn’t he see it?’ He did see it, that was the problem.
