I ran past Jacob and I heard him chuckle, but I didn't stop. I get to the end of a corridor and turn in the direction my mate's scent is coming from. I enter the room and see her immediately. She is alive, because I can feel her heart beat. I run over and remove the magic I feel surrounding her shackles, before I break them. I have never felt magic like that before, but my focus now is on my mate. She falls into my arms as sit down and I hold her unconscious body. "Mate!" Prometheus howls in my head.
