When the twins wake up to feed, everyone leaves to give us some privacy. Only Liam stays, and he is having a very animated chat with Zac while he holds him. Zac is watching him like he understands what he is saying. Or maybe he does. Who knows with these pups. They are all so gifted, they hardly seem like pups. More like old souls who know way too much.
Feeding them seemed to be going okay. Zac was okay to wait until Zoe was finished, but I doubt it will always be like that. But for their first feed, they need the nourishment Bella’s breast milk offers. But Doc did say we would have to put them on formula too. Alpha pups are hungry little ones. And I like the fact that I can help Bella feed them. I will do whatever I can to lighten the load for Bella.
