I lay on the bed and watch Bella until I know she is asleep. She used a lot of magic, and she was drained. I hate this part. She is too vulnerable in this state. But as always, she was amazing and so was Elliot. I want to check on him and Liam too. I would never leave Bella unprotected like this, so I suppose Bear-Bear will have to do.
He is the only guardian I can summon and he will keep her safe. When I gave him his instructions, I went to check on Elliot first. Sasha opened their room door and invited me in. “Is Bella okay?” she asks. “She is drained, and out like a light,” I say, and she looked over at their bed. “Elliot, too.” she says. “Then I won’t keep you. I just wanted to know if he was okay. I need to go check on Liam." I say and she nods.
