My first shift was not as painful as I expected. The minute I heard Apollo's voice in my head, I was filled with a sense of calm. He helped me through it, and it was over very quickly. But when he howled in my head that our mate was here, I was very surprised. I can't believe I found my mate! I honestly didn't think I had one.
