Bella POV
The wolf falls down and almost lands on top of me, but I let go and move out of the way. I extend my claws and s***h his neck, but when I reach for his heart, he slaps me away with one of his paws. I rolled away and looked back at him. He will be down for a bit. That gives me enough time.
I quickly moved away, took off my sweatshirt and leggings, and immediately shifted. Gaia howls up at the moon, before she jumps on the wolf and snarls. She uses her front paw to crush his airway and watches as he takes his last breath and closes his eyes. She immediately jumps away and looks around. I sense it too, there are more wolves and they are heading the way.
