My grandparents and Alex’s parents look genuinely happy for us. I can already see this baby will have more than enough love. But I know what I am about to say is not going to make them happy. “The best thing to do is to just go for it. Just rip the proverbial Band-Aid off, as they say,” Gaia says in my mind. “I should, there is no use in prolonging it.” I answer and cut the connection. “Okay, so now onto my other news,” I say, taking a deep breath.
“We have a location for Alice’s hideout now, so I want to set a trap. I still want to be the one to kill her. I know I can do it. I have the power and the motivation,” I say. “It’s too dangerous for the baby. You are probably in your first trimester. That is a dangerous time.
