I don’t like what I just heard. I was already worried about Bella before, and now my worry has just stepped up a notch. “There is more, I can feel it. Please tell us the rest, grandpa,” I say and he sighs. “His name was Alfred Du Pont. Juliette found his journals after she trapped him, and he mentioned Alice in most of them. She was the one that filled his mind with ideas.
She was fueling his obsession by making him believe that Juliette loved him too. That is why we sent Alice away to study abroad. She was always trying to make Juliette look bad and causing trouble.
