She was here and yet so far. Anger bubbled as Uther’s eyes travelled over Kaida’s body, hating that such sorcery ever existed at all in their realm. Severina, the wicked witch of Wregon, had taken over his woman’s body so effortlessly and with every one of her movements, he was reminded of how easily she could have crawled into his life without him ever suspecting a thing. He would have spent night after night sleeping with the enemy and he’d have never known it until it was too late for Kaida who still remained trapped God knows where.
