The day that everyone left, the girls and I worked in the kitchen while the guys cleaned up outside. We still had some meat that was frozen, and we had leftovers that were in the fridge. In addition to some meat that we didn't prepare yesterday.
So we spent the morning cooking and using everything up. We would have this stuff for lunch and dinner today. And I planned to use the eggs that were left to make stuffed biscuits for the ride home. We had a couple of packs of sausage in the fridge that needed to be used. So I told the girls that I'd make sausage gravy out of it. And then use that to make a stuffed biscuit as well. I just needed to lay out the bacon.
So we would end up with bacon, egg, and cheese-stuffed biscuits, and sausage gravy-stuffed biscuits. I'd make enough for
