The ride back to the compound thankfully went fast. Both Effie and I couldn't wait to get our hands on our boy. I missed him so much and couldn't wait to see him. I missed my nephew Fin as well. I was ready to give both boys lots of lovings. After missing the first year of Veer's life, I hated to be away from him for a long time.
When we pulled in, Effie pulled up behind the others and parked the truck. I gotta give it to her. She drove the truck with the camper on it better than I thought that she would.
