We spent almost two days on the yacht. On the second day, Esteban said that we were close enough that the helicopters could take us to shore. And they would be dropping us off as close to our cars as they could. But if need be, we may need to rappel down to them. I wasn't looking forward to that. But I'd do it if I had to.
All I wanted right now was to get home. So if I had to hop, skip, and jump to get there, I'd do it. I was ready to get home to my family. I was ready to see my parents, Leandro, my son, and my girl. I was also ready to get back into my normal clothes. I was sick of wearing these uppity f*****g clothes. I wanted my jeans, t-shirts, boots, and most importantly, my cut back. I felt naked without it.
