“Then you should have handled it better,” my mother said. “If you want to stay employed, you will follow my instructions.”
Nicole hesitated. “The children are sensitive. I believe they noticed something.”
“Their instincts mean nothing,” my mother replied. “You will remove them from that school. They do not belong beside my granddaughter. Handle it immediately.”
The call ended.
