“What did you say?" I asked my right as he read the report for me.
We were still in Zavian's office and had been waiting.
I didn't understand Asena. She knew that her father hated her. She knew that Victoria and Sophia would never accept her but she still went back to that house.
Even after Richard beat her and left her for dead at the roadside, she still went when he called.
"Is she stupid?” I asked in exasperation.
I so wanted to shake her or even open her brain to see what it was made of.
“Caspian!" Zavian reprimanded but I didn't care.
