Charlotte’s POV
Over the next few days, I spent most of my time with Nora, making lists of everything we would need for the trip and helping her pick out clothes she wanted to bring.
She was excited about the beach, about swimming in the ocean, about collecting shells and building sandcastles. It was nice to see her so animated, especially after everything that had happened recently. She was talking more and making sure she got all of her lessons done, wanting to have as much time as possible to explore and play on vacation.
One afternoon while Nora was napping before dinnertime, I sat at the desk in the bedroom with my laptop open, researching the area around the resort.
Kieran had mentioned that there would be plenty of activities for Nora to do while we were on vacation,
