Charlotte’s POV   “He… left?” I stared at the waiter, certain I had misheard. Kieran wouldn’t just leave like that. He wouldn’t ditch me at the restaurant with no text, no reasoning, nothing.   The waiter shrugged. “I’m sorry. He left a little while ago.” His smile was pleasant, if not a little too wide. “Just walked right now.
