Charlotte’s POV   The French toast I’d been eating suddenly felt like cement in my gut.   “One of your exes,” I repeated slowly. “As in…”   “As in she was one of the women who came here before you,” Kieran said. His jaw was set in a hard line as he shot Rosa a withering look. “She lasted about three months.”   Rosa’s face had gone pale, but her eyes were still burning with something dark and angry.
