1309 Words

Today’s lead speaker was standing at the podium, droning on about pack territories or something; I wasn’t really paying attention, and I hadn’t been all morning. I had spent the entire meeting sitting in the back row, barely paying attention, nursing a headache from the night before.   Jessica and I had gotten into another fight last night. Something about me not paying enough attention to her. I couldn't even remember the details anymore; every argument blurred into the next until my life felt like it was just one big fight.   All I knew was that I was tired. Tired of the fighting. Tired of pretending I was happy. Tired of waking up every morning
