“That’s enough.” Blade shouted.
Nobody moved. Rain poured around us while everyone breathed heavily through the silence. Then Finn looked directly at Drake.
“I love her.” Finn said.
“Oh my God.” Casey muttered but Finn completely ignored him.
“I loved her before you even noticed her.” Finn said and Drake’s expression turned dangerously calm.
“And she still chose me.” Drake said.
The words landed hard. Finn’s jaw flexed tightly while anger and heartbreak twisted together across his face.
I stepped forward before either of them could start again.
“Listen carefully because I’m only saying this once. You are my ex who cheated on me and knocked up my best friend. But right now if I had to choose then it’s Drake and that’s not going to change.” I snapped toward Finn.
