Vancouver was like an isolated compound indeed. Whoever this Brian was he liked to be surrounded by a dangerous scape of forests and snow in the winter weeks at the end of December. It would take a large army platoon to break through the mountain forest to this mansion and its lone airfield. As we landed, I saw a very large plane, the size of maybe an airbus 370 parked at the end of the single line airfield we were now landing on.
