“Can I use this book?”
The pitch of her voice was higher and she sounded more pissed off.
I turned around, my mouth almost fell on the floor and I immediately pulled the book away from her hands.
“Hey, calm down. Did you really have to take the book like that?”
She huffed and sighed at me, her eyes rolling back.
I nodded slowly and rolled my eyes , sighing before putting the book back into my bag.
